Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace are ballroom dancers.

You may know them better as ‘Er off the telly and ‘Im off the goggle box, as their profiles were raised considerably when they appeared as professional dancers on the hit BBC show, Strictly Come Dancing. However, they have been competing successfully in dance competitions since their teens.

Tango is their forte. (Though I’m sure they could do the Mashed Potato if a gun was put to their heads.)

In their new show, Midnight Tango, they provide the kind of bubbling chemistry you usually find in a mad scientist’s laboratory. Though together they certainly don’t add up to Frankenstein’s monster.

Vincent and Flavia’s tango is fluid fire. So darned frisky you don’t know whether to applaud or toss a bucket of ice water over them.

The couple were once ‘a couple’ but that’s in the past. It’s hard to believe when you see them this flirty.

However, Midnight Tango isn’t just about Vincent and Flavia. This is a lavish production, with several dancers seething to the lecherous Latino music.

But it’s the Strictly sizzlers who steal the show with their sultry movement and bubbling charisma. Flavia also has great beauty, plus a hidden talent. Not only does she dance, she also strums a violin during the performance.

What next? I almost expect her to pull a Rubik’s Cube from the folds of her skimpy dress, then solve the puzzle while high-kicking.

Midnight Tango truly is a masterpiece of magical movement.

‘Er and ‘Im at their very best.
