Rock legends Guns N' Roses led by Axl Rose will play a huge show at the LG Arena in Birmingham in the spring.

The band have announced that they will head out on a seven-date arena tour in May, shortly after they are due to be inducted into the US Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.

The original members - including guitarist Slash - are due to share the stage to celebrate their induction in April.

However, front man Axl Rose will be taking his new look line-up out on tour.

It includes keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Chris Pitman, bassist Tommy Stinson, rhythm guitarist Richard Fortus, drummer Frank Ferrer plus lead guitarists Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal and DJ Ashba.

Guns N' Roses last performed together in 2010. Their set at Reading Festival was cut short after they played past their curfew.

Tickets to see such an iconic band play their catalogue of classic rock song are likely to be in high demand.

Their hits include Sweet Child O' Mine, Welcome To The Jungle and Paradise City.

Guns N' Roses are also working on new material after releasing their last album Chinese Democracy in 2008.
