Birmingham-based chartered accountants JW Hinks were declared Small Business category winners of the 2016 Great Birmingham Run Business Challenge, which saw Midlands companies compete for fastest-time trophies.
The Edgbaston company finished with a time of 06:49:19; the combined time of the men's team fastest four finishers.
Property experts CBRE took home the Medium Business category with their first four finishers recording a combined time of 07:25:45, while the Birmingham office of finance giants PwC won the Large Business category with a time of 06:08:32.
Companies taking back to the office a trophy for entering 12 or more employees in the challenge include Charter Court Financial Services, HSBC, Lion Picture Framing Supplies and Leicestershire-based Sigma Precision Components.
More than 300 runners from 28 teams took part in this year’s Great Birmingham Run Business Challenge, from a variety of business sectors and sizes across the Midlands.
Nicola Harrold, managing director of entrants Lion Picture Framing Supplies, said: “The whole team completed the course and really enjoyed it, and we raised £2660 for BCH in the process.
“Everyone here seems to have the running bug now, looks like we’ll have a larger team for the 10K in the spring!”

Next year’s Great Birmingham Run half marathon will be held on the same day as the inaugural Birmingham International Marathon on Sunday, October 15.
