Brummies who saw The Supremes make their debut appearance in the city more than four decades ago are being sought to share their memories of the hit music group.

Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery is looking for people who saw the group perform at the Odeon, New Street, on March 25, 1965.

Running from February 21 to June 7, The Story of The Supremes features over 50 costumes, shoes, wigs and jewellery that chart the changing image of the group from their early days when they were known as The Primettes to the glamorous Hollywood designs they wore at the height of their fame.

Anyone with memories or memorabilia about The Supremes can contact Neil Holland on 0121 303 3485 or go to neil.holland@birmingham.gov.uk
