Leading property company Barberry has announced a major increase in its activity in the residential sector with 350 acres of strategic land secured for planning promotion and £20 million invested in apartment blocks.

Worcestershire-based Barberry Group joined dozens of property agents and investors at a meeting of the Residential Agents Club (RAC) at Primitivo in Birmingham where the company highlighted its strategy of residential investment.

Barberry director Alex Watson told agents that the company is pursuing more opportunities in the residential market and is keen to acquire further income producing investment blocks.

The company’s huge increase in activity in the residential sector includes the purchase of in excess of £20 million of residential investment blocks across the country, including Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton and Bristol.
