Barclays, in conjunction with the Women’s Business Council, hosted the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Women’s Enterprise Summit at its offices in Snow Hill, Birmingham.
Speakers included Jagdeep Rai, of Barclays, Baroness Verma, Minister at the Department of Energy and Climate Change, Lorely Burt MP, Government-appointed Ambassador for Female Enterprise, Anita Bhalla OBE, BBC Broadcaster and chair of the Creative City Partnership; Professor Monder Ram OBE, director, Birmingham University, and Sonia Brown MBE, founder of the National Black Women’s Network.
