Police investigating the murder of a 52-year-old Shrewsbury man have arrested two women on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
The pair, who are being questioned at police stations in Shrewsbury and Telford, were detained at about 9am on Wednesday at separate addresses in the Harlescott area.
A police spokesman said the women had been arrested by officers probing the death of Paul Wayne Rugg, of Kynaston Road, Shrewsbury, in January.
A 25-year-old man was charged with Mr Rugg's murder within days of his death and is due to appear before Shrewsbury Crown Court next month.
