West Mercia Police have named a 90-year-old woman who died in a fire at a remote cottage near Bridgnorth, Shropshire.

Officers said the death of Norma Foster, of Burcote, near Rindleford, was being treated as unexplained and that officers had found no evidence to suggest that it was suspicious.

Mrs Foster, who is understood to have been a widow, was pronounced dead at her home on Monday after all three emergency services, including an air ambulance, were summoned to the scene at about 6.45pm.
