A woman has been badly injured after a car collided with the house she was inside in the Black Country.
The incident happened at Fisher Road, Oldbury, shortly before 4.30pm on Wednesday, when a car crashed into the house, demolishing a kitchen wall, causing the ceiling to collapse.
The woman, believed to be in her 30s, suffered a serious head injury and was flown by helicopter to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham for treatment.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “Three girls, aged 7, 9 and 12, who were also believed to be inside, all had minor cuts and bruises and were taken to Sandwell Hospital. A fourth girl declined hospital treatment."
The driver of the car, a man in his 30s, suffered a chest pain. He was taken to Sandwell Hospital.
