A woman has appeared before magistrates charged with murdering another woman in a leafy Midlands road.
Karla Biddle, 31, of Aldbury Road, Yardley Wood, is accused of stabbing Emma Bradshaw, in Berkeley Road, Shirley, at around 8am on Wednesday.
Biddle, wearing a white zip-up jacket, spoke only to confirm her name and address during a brief hearing before Solihull magistrates this morning.
No application for bail was made and Biddle was remanded in custody.
District judge Nigel Cadbury committed the case to Warwick Crown Court where Biddle will next appear on May 28.
Miss Bradshaw, aged 30, was taken to hospital where she died on Wednesday morning.
