Wolverhampton Wanderers are considering making a third and final bid for Derby County midfielder Inigo Idiakez.

The Molineux side confirmed they have made two recent bids for the 31-yearold Spanish midfielder, believed to be in the region of £500,000 and £750,000.

One of the deals is believed to have included cash plus 30-year-old midfielder and Derby fan Kevin Cooper.

A Wolves spokesman said: "It is not normally our wish to do business in public but the club can confirm that two separate and written offers were made for Inigo Idiakez."

Derby manager Phil Brown, however, said he was not aware of any recent official bids for his player and stressed Idiakez, signed from Rayo Vallecano last July, was not for sale.

Brown said: "I'm not aware of this being a recent bid.

"I am aware that there was interest in him at the end of last season but I was not the manager then.

"Since then I have had a conversation with (Wolves manager) Glenn Hoddle but not had any official bid from them.

"But Inigo is not for sale and I will do everything I possibly can to keep him at the club."

Meanwhile, Brown also dismissed speculation linking him with a move for Sunderland's transfer-listed striker Michael Bridges.

Meanwhile, striker Henri Camara finally returned to Molineux yesterday.

The 28-year-old Senegal international, who refused to play in the Coca-Cola Championship for Wolves last season and subsequently joined Celtic and Southampton on loan, was due to return to training with the Black Country club after no transfer materialised.

A spokesman said the controversial striker headed straight for talks with club officials after his arrival at Molineux. n Reading boss Steve Coppell described Leroy Lita as "the biggest signing in the club's history" after sealing a clubrecord £1million deal for the Bristol City striker.

Coppell said: "This is the biggest signing in the club's history and I would like to commend our chairman (John Madejski) for providing the funds."

Lita, who scored on his England Under-21 debut against Holland in February, hit 29 goals for City last season.
