Whatever division Wolverhampton Wanderers' play their football in next season, the club has been given a massive boost with the news that its sponsor has renewed its multi-million pound deal with the club for the foreseeable future.
Wolves, who currently lie in seventh place in the Coca-Cola Championship just a victory away from the promotion play-offs, have announced a new deal with global consultancy business Chaucer Consulting.
Chaucer has been Wolves' main sponsor and the name borne on the players' shirts since May 2004 and now a new one-year deal has now been secured taking the partnership on until the end of the 2008-09 season.
The company was set-up in 1987 by lifelong Wolves fan, Bob Laslett and is now internationally renowned with offices in North America, Europe, Middle East and the Asia-Pacific.
Laslett, who was appointed to the Wolves board of directors in January this year, said: "Chaucer Consulting is proud to be associated with such a wonderful club and I am personally honoured to have been made a director."
