Police in Birmingham are appealing for witnesses and information following a road crash which left a pedestrian in hospital.
The collision happened at ab out 10:55pm on Tuesday at the junction of Summer Road and Machin Road, Erdington.
The pedestrian, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital with injuries where he is in a serious condition.
A 21-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop. She is in custody helping police with their inquiries.
