Six cases of champagne and more than 200 bottles of wine have been stolen from a property in Redditch.
The alcohol, bought ahead of a summer wedding, was being stored in the garage of a house in Blakemere Close in the Winyates East area of the town.
Police believe thieves struck between 8pm last Friday and 10.30am on Monday. A Sony television, a 110-piece socket set and a laptop were also taken.
A police spokesman said: "We understand that a car has been parked in front of the garage door each night and so it is likely that the offence has taken place in daylight hours.
"Offenders have almost certainly used a vehicle to transport the wine and champagne and it would have taken quite a while to load up.
"It may be that someone noticed it being moved from the garage to a van or estate car without realising that the items were actually being stolen, and we'd appeal to anyone who noticed any unusual activity in the area to pass this on to police as soon as they can."
