The case against a Canadian accused of duping British girls into stripping off and performing sex acts over a webcam was adjourned last night.
Mark Bedford, 21, appeared at a five-minute hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in his home town of Kingston.
He was remanded in custody and will appear in court on August 16, court spokes-woman Joyce Williams said.
British authorities became involved after a parent contacted Kent Police in April.
Bedford faces two counts of luring a child by means of a computer, possessing child pornography and making child pornography. He is also charged with distributing child pornography and three counts of extortion.
