Stoke businessman and the star of TV's The Secret Millionaire Mo Chaudry has received an honorary degree from Staffordshire University.

Mr Chaudry, who runs Waterworld in Stoke, is being recognised for his entrepreneurial skills and business leadership by the university he once attended.

The sports science graduate was presented the honorary title by vice-chancellor Professor Christine King on Wednesday, becoming the only person to be honoured by both of the county's universities in the same year.

Mr Chaudry said it was a "real honour" to be recognised by his former university and said the accolade will serve as a platform to give something back to the community.
