A farm worker has suffered serious crush injuries after getting trapped inside a potato harvesting machine in Warwickshire.
The incident happened in a field off Hinckley Road, near Wolvey, at around 4.40pm on Monday.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “When ambulance staff arrived they found a man who was trapped by his left leg in the machine.
“Working with other farm staff, the man was freed after about 30 minutes. He was assessed on the scene by the doctor before being taken by land ambulance to University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire.”
