A Midland man was stabbed to death in Cambodia where he owned a bar.
David Mitchell, from Walsall, is believed to have been killed during a break-in at his apartment in the capital, Phnom Penh. He suffered at least five stab wounds to the chest.
An 18-year-old called Tong Chen was arrested in a nearby park on suspicion of murder, police investigator Neang Sopheap said.
A New Zealand journalist Jane Nye, who worked as managing editor of Cambodian Scene magazine and who had been staying in the same house as Mr Mitchell, suffered injuries to her neck and head.
She was taken to Thailand for medical treatment and her condition was said to be critical.
