Walsall's new manager Kevan Broad-hurst has vowed to do "whatever it takes" to get his Saddlers side in the right shape for their League One relegation battle.
Saturday's postponement of the home game with relegation rivals Bournemouth has plunged Broadhurst's side back into the bottom four.
But Broadhurst has wasted no time trying to improve fitness levels with increased training sessions. "We are working the play-ers hard," said Broadhurst. "And we even had three sessions in one day last week. But I'm not here to be Mr Popular. "I'm here to get this club out of trouble and I'll do whatever it takes to give ourselves the best chance of doing that."
Broadhurst's first three games will all be away. Sunday's trip to fourth-placed Swansea is then followed by the Friday night trek to Prenton Park to face Brian Little's improving Tranmere.
