Aston Villa have once again been pitted against Manchester United in the FA Cup third round.

Sir Alex Ferguson's side will travel to Villa Park for their fourth meeting in the past seven seasons at that stage of the prestigious competition. United, beaten finalists last season, have won each of the three previous meetings in 2002, 2004 and 2007.

Birmingham City were given a reasonable chance of making progress with a trip to Huddersfield Town while West Bromwich Albion must also travel after being drawn away to Charlton Athletic.

Wolverhampton Wanderers will fancy their chances after being handed a home tie against Cambridge City but Coventry City will view their trip to Blackburn Rovers with some trepidation.

Walsall's 1-1 draw at Northampton Town means the sides must meet again next week for the honour of entertaining Millwall.

Holders Chelsea were handed a home tie against Queens Park Rangers while 2006 winners Liverpool will travel to Luton Town or Nottingham Forest.

Premier League leaders Arsenal travel to Coca-Cola Championship side Burnley while there are three other all-Premier League meetings with Tottenham Hotspur hosting Reading, West Ham United facing Manchester City and Wigan Athletic travelling to fellow strugglers Sunderland.
