Editor, Baroness Warsi is the epitome of what is wrong with the House of Lords, and like Lord Taylor was elevated to the lords for PR reasons more than political purpose.

It comes as little surprise to see that there are questions to be asked and answered, as to integrity and the abuse of the economic privileges that come with the office.

It’s time that the Lords was abandoned, not reformed, so that we get a new chamber of elected peers. Only those chosen by voters should have any right to vote on legislation for the citizens of this nation, not political flunkies appointed for favours, pensions, and ethnic expediency.

Baroness Warsi is the custodian of Tory rules, and the gatekeeper of the books, so her naivety is surprising.
