A hospital doctor who bombarded TV star Abi Titmuss with messages before sneaking into her home and confronting her as she took a shower was yesterday struck off the medical register.
Dr Shibley Rahman had sent the former nurse scores of emails and text messages and contacted her agent to try to arrange a meeting, the General Medical Council heard.
The GMC last week found the doctor guilty of misconduct and yesterday ruled his actions were so serious he should be erased from the medical register.
Rahman sent the TV presenter messages and eventually turned up at the accommodation block where she lived after drinking. He began banging on her room door and shouting.
Ms Titmuss said she was left "terrified" by the ordeal and feared the stalker doctor might attack her.
