Solihull Moors have bid farewell to Lee Ayres after he was offered the chance to return to the full-time game.
The former Kidderminster Harriers defender, who joined Moors two years ago, has been snapped by Mans[fb01]eld Town as they rebuild their squad following relegation from the Football League.
Ayres, who also has spells at Tamworth and Burton Albion, joins the Stags on a Bosman free transfer.
After their midweek friendly at Alvechurch was postponed, the Moors begin their warm-up tonight against Burton Albion at Damson Park with three new signings on show. Former England non-League international Simon Travis has joined from Nuneaton to follow Jake Sedgemore (Altrincham) and Michael Tuohy (Tamworth) as new faces.
Kidderminster Harriers are set to have another look at a number of trialists when they entertain Championship side Plymouth Argyle at Aggborough.
Manager Mark Yates included former Norwich and Stockport full-back Mike Bowler, one-time Newcastle United trainee Martin Brittain, Gavin MacCallum, who played for Weymouth last season, and Walsall's David McDermott in Monday's friendly win against Hereford United.
Former Wolves defender Keith Lowe also had a run out against the Bulls. He has been training with Harriers to keep sharp but Yates admites he is keen to remain in the League.
