Staffordshire Police have warned Birmingham City fans not to travel to this Saturday's match against Stoke City without a ticket.

The force and Stoke City have predicted that a large crowd will attend.

Supt Mick Harrison said visiting fans who arrived at the Britannia Stadium, where fans of the clubs clashed after an FA Cup tie in February, without a ticket would not be admitted to the stadium.

"The match is live on television and getting a ticket before the offices close will be the only way of ensuring they can enjoy the atmosphere at the stadium."

Visiting supporters are also being encouraged to travel straight to the Britannia Stadium as there are major road works around the venue.
