A woman has been cut free from her car following a three-car crash on the M6 in Birmingham.
The driver, believed to be in her 20s, suffered minor injuries only and was taken to Sandwell District General Hospital.
Two lanes of the Northbound carriageway between Junctions 6 and 7 were closed to allow the rescue operation to go ahead.
The crash happened shortly before 2pm.
The Highways Agency predicted normal traffic would resume by rush hour.
