Finding the best quality available

Steve Woods has been head chef at Bank since it opened five-and-a-half years ago.

As well as spending long hours in the kitchen with his team, he is also responsible for buying in produce.

He has built up relationships with a variety of suppliers like Interfruit Ltd, his fish supplier FishCo, and meat supplier Aubrey Allen, which specialises in Scottish beef.

The priority for him is to find the best quality food, which may not always come from the Midlands.
