Police in Warwickshire are hunting for a teenager who shot a boy in the face with a ball-bearing gun as he walked home.
The 11-year-old boy, whose identity has not been released, was walking along Park Avenue in Polesworth on Sunday afternoon with a friend when he was shot. His friend, whose age is unknown, was hit in the leg by pellets from the gun.
Neither of them required hospital treatment.
The teenager who fired the gun is described as being white, aged 13 to 15 years old, 5ft 5 inches tall and of slim build. He was wearing a white baseball cap and black tracksuit trousers.
