A 15-year-old was killed yesterday after she was knocked down by a lorry.
The girl became trapped underneath the vehicle in Burton-upon-Trent, Staffordshire. The accident happened at 12.15pm in Wellington Road, a spokesman for Staffordshire Police said.
He continued: "She was trapped under the lorry and once freed was taken to the Queen's Hospital in Burton but unfortunately she died of her injuries shortly after." Anyone with information should call Lichfield police station on 0845 330 2010.
