A Coventry teenager has died after being hit by a car which crashed into a garden.
Bradley Galvin died, aged 16, on the junction of Robin Hood Road and Remembrance Road, in the Willenhall area of the city on Saturday at 9.10pm.
He was riding his bike when he was hit by a car that dragged him through a fence as it ploughed into a front garden.
West Midlands Ambulance Service found the teenager trapped under the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 41-year-old woman has been arrested by police on suspicion of dangerous driving.
The woman, who police say was not from the area, has been bailed for further enquiries to be made.
Inspector Nick Clark, of Coventry local policing unit, said: “This is a tragic incident which has understandably caused some upset in the community, and I would ask anybody with any information to get in touch with us.”
