A Black Country teenager who admitted making and distributing indecent photographs of children has now pleaded guilty to two charges of incitement to commit sexual assault on a child under 13.
Nicholas Wilde was arrested after an investigation between West Midlands Police and officers in the United States into sexual activity involving a child was further remanded in custody by Judge Michael Challinor.
The 18-year-old, of Holmbridge Grove, Walsall, is now expected to appear again before Wolverhampton Crown Court on January 21 for sentence.
Wilde, has previously admitted six charges of making indecent photographs of a child, one of distributing the indecent images, another of possessing indecent images and two charges of possessing extreme pornography.
The teenager, who was remanded for a pre-sentence and a further psychiatric report also asked the Judge to take into consideration six other charges involving the possession of extreme pornography.
A 30-year-old mother-of-four was arrested in Maine in the United States accused of sexually abusing a child and the sexual exploitation of a minor.
The woman’s arrest followed a tip off from the Child Exploitation team at the West Midland Police and as part of an investigation that lead officers to Wilde.
British police worked with child exploitation officers and the U.S embassy to snare Wilde and the woman in Maine.
Stephen Cadwaladr , defending, told Judge Challinor a further psychiatric report was necessary before the case could be finalised.
