Stourport Swifts have secured a mix of youth and experience by adding Tony Breedon and Lee Williams to their relegation-battling squad.

Tamworth goalkeeper Breedon and Hednesford Town midfielder Williams have joined second-from-bottom Swifts as manager Roy Rencher's final signings before tomorrow's transfer deadline. Both will make their debuts in Saturday's Southern One West trip to Burnham.

Teenager Breedon, who worked with Rencher when he was youth team boss at Sutton Coldfield Town, replaces Craig Ladek who has been disciplined for two games after a bust-up last week.

But the presence of former Aston Villa, Peterborough and Cheltenham midfielder Williams will add plenty of mid-field know-how, especially after new recruit Jae Martin, signed last week from Barnt Green Spartak, has to serve a three week ban.

Bedworth United have snapped up James Holmes as their fifth new signing in the last fortnight.

Holmes, the son of former Coventry City player Jimmy, has joined after being freed by Nuneaton Borough and will make his bow in Saturday's fixture at Ashford Town.

The Greenbacks have also welcomed back strike pair Lee Greenway and Paul Spacey from Brackley Town as well as signing Carl Adams from Solihull Borough and ex-Coventry youngster Tom Bates.

Bromsgrove Rovers are hoping to complete a beat-the-deadline deal to bring Phil Male back to the Victoria Ground.

Male left Rovers in the New Year to join Willenhall Town before Rod Brown arrived but the Greens manager will hold face-to-face talks tonight. Any transfer, however, must be completed before 5pm tomorrow.

Les Hines, one of Hednesford's FA Trophy heroes, has returned to Keys Park to help their fight for survival in Nationwide North.

The left-back, scorer in the Trophy win over Canvey Island in 2004, has rejoined from Worcester City.

However, the Pitmen have lost striker Paul McMahon to Stafford Rangers.

Leamington have drafted in Redditch United midfielder Michael Feeley to help their push for the top six in the Harvey World Travel Alliance.

Feeley, who will make his bow in Saturday's match at Biddulph Victoria, becomes the Brakes' fourth new signing in the last fortnight. Tom Cudworth has joined from Racing Club Warwick, while Adam Knight, a centre-half from Cogenhoe, and utility player Ady Fuller, from Banbury, have signed as cover.
