Antiques believed stolen from reclusive property tycoon Harry Hyams' rural mansion have been found in the Midlands.

Thieves grabbed museum-grade art and valuables valued at up to #30 million from Ramsbury Manor in Ramsbury, Wiltshire, in an overnight heist at the start of February.

Warwickshire Police said yesterday that high-value goods, thought to be part of the Hyams haul, were discovered in a culvert on waste ground at Black Hill, Stratford-on-Avon, on Saturday.

A spokeswoman for Wiltshire Police, leading the inquiry, said: "Police in Stratford are working with colleagues from Wiltshire to recover the items and progress further inquiries."

It is not clear what the found items were.
