Walsall midfielder Michael Standing believes Saturday's match against Hull City at Bescot will pit the two best footballing teams in League One together.

Peter Taylor's Hull have a reputation for playing incisive, attacking football on the way to promotion this season.

Walsall have not been as successful, but Paul Merson's team are also known for their attractive play and Standing is looking forward to an open entertaining match as the visitors chase the title.

"Hull have proved that you can be successful in this league by playing good football," said the 23 year-old.

"They'll come here looking for a win. It'll be a proper game of football, they'll come here and pass the ball about.

"They're arguably the best footballing team in the league but we are not far behind and I don't think we should fear anyone.

"It should be a good spectacle and I'd like to think there will be a big crowd here."
