Staffordshire police have arrested 24 people as part of a day of action against suspected offenders and defendants wanted on court warrants.
The crackdown, named Operation Trojan, saw 19 men and five women arrested in the Lichfield, Tamworth, Burntwood, Uttoxeter and Burton areas.
A police spokesman said those arrested face allegations including assault, theft, fraud, handling stolen goods and drug possession.
Detective Inspector Paul Downing said: "Around 40 officers took part in the operation, which enabled us to make early arrests of suspects involved in ongoing criminal inquiries.
"The majority of those arrested were released on bail pending further inquiries or charged, while four went to court concerning outstanding warrants."
