More than 100 jobs are being created in Solihull following the expansion of a personal care and support service.
Caremark is opening a new branch in Solihull to meet demand.
The new service is being run by Mr and Mrs Amarjit Gill who successfully launched their Caremark franchise in Redditch three years ago and now employ 90 people.
Caremark provides a range of home-based personal care and support services to older people across the UK and also to people of all ages with physical disabilities, learning disabilities or terminal illnesses. Mr Gill said: “Our services are dedicated to helping people live independent lifestyles in the comfort of their homes whether it be an hour or two each day or live- in 24 hour care.
“We are experiencing a tremendous demand for our services and we urgently need to recruit high quality staff to deliver a range of care services. We provide full training so experience is not critical but being a caring and considerate person is.
Caremark Solihull, based in Stratford Road, Shirley currently employs 18 people but a further 100 positions for field staff are being created over the next 12 months.
The company provides a full range of personal care and support services, from helping with washing and dressing to assistance with shopping, preparing light meals, domestic duties and companionship.
