Rival soap stars will clash at a Black Country football club next month in a charity match to raise money for a Midland children's hospice.
Cast members from Hollyoaks will take on actors from Emmerdale at Halesowen Town FC on August 6, to raise funds for Acorns.
The children's charity provides vital care and treatment for young people across the region at its three centres.
Nick Pickard, who plays entrepreneur Tony Hutchinson in Hollyoaks, said: "The Hollyoaks football team has been playing matches for charity all over the UK for six years and has raised over £300,000 so far.
"It is our pleasure to visit the Midlands and help Acorns Children's Hospice by taking on the Emmerdale team in what is sure to be a fast-paced and action-packed football match.
"Acorns is a vital children's charity in the Midlands providing respite, emergency and end-of-life care to children of all ages at its three hospices and throughout the community from dedicated teams of staff and volunteers. We hope to do our bit by helping to raise both awareness and much-needed funds."
Tickets for the event, which kicks off at 3pm, are £6 each with all funds raised going to Acorns Hospices. For more information call the ticket hotline 0800 073 0001 or visit Acorns shop at 78 High Street, Halesowen.
