Mike Skinner of The Streets is set to enter the Guinness World Records book for creating the longest music video.

Skinner, from Birmingham, is teaming up with MTV to make the 20-minute promo. The record was set in 1983 by Michael Jackson's Thriller.

Skinner, whose hits include Fit But You Know It, and Dry Your Eyes, has used their stories to inspire a new track.

The five film-makers are Dave Griffiths, from Glasgow, who spent a week on the trail of Strathclyde Police; Steve Camden, from Birmingham, who went back to the street where he lived as a child; Lydia Wakefield, from Derby, who investigates whether her endless list of broken bones and freak accidents makes her the clumsiest girl in Britain; Bella Keegan, from London, who filmed cheerleading spoof and George Stamenkovic, who goes on Bigfoot's trail.
