A "shy" python named after the snake in the Disney classic Robin Hood is on the loose after escaping from his owner's home.
Sir Hiss, a "non-dangerous" 4ft-long ball python, disappeared from an address in Ilkley Close, Worcester, three days ago.
A West Mercia Police spokesman said: "No one is in danger from Sir Hiss as he curls himself up into a ball whenever he feels threatened."
The one-year-old serpent, which lives on a diet of baby chicks, went missing overnight some time before 10.40am on March 26.
Anyone who spots the character's namesake is urged to call police on 0845 744 4888, quoting 115C/260305.
