A gang of armed robbers brought terror to Birmingham when they held up a jewellers using guns and hammers.
Four raiders stormed into Rudell’s Jewellers in Harborne High Street as staff were closing up for the night.
Police said that a shot was reported to have been fired but nobody was hurt in the incident that happened at 4.21pm today (Friday).
The men escaped along the High Street before disappearing down an alley by the Rubery Cantonese Restaurant.
Detectives said they could not confirm the value of any goods that were taken.
The shop sells designer jewellery including diamonds, pearls, gold and silver.
