A 20-year-old man who was gunned down at a Birmingham video shop remained in a critical condition on Monday morning.
The victim, who has not been named by police, was shot by a man of Asian appearance at the shop in Alum Rock Road, Washwood Heath, late on Saturday.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said the gunman was thought to have made off towards Saltley following the offence at about 11pm. Detective Chief Inspector Ron Winch added that inquiries are ongoing to establish a motive for the incident.
