Malvern Town forward Mark Shepherd grabbed the late goal to seal an upset win over Willenhall Town in last night's FA Cup replay.

It was a first qualifying round replay between two evenly-matched sides that was always going to be decided by one goal and it was a strike to remember from Shepherd with 15 minutes left at Langland Stadium.

Clear-cut chances had been scarce but former Worcester City, Moor Green and Solihull Borough player Shepherd was unerring with his finis,h when he volleyed home a cross into bottom corner to seal a home tie for Malvern against Nationwide South title contenders Histon a week on Saturday.

Damien Charie was AFC Telford United's hero with an extra-time winner in a 3-2 success at Rugby Town. Goals from new recruit Luke Reynolds twice put the Bucks ahead but David Stone twice levelled. Charie, however, notched the decider five minutes into extra time to earn Telford a trip to Nationwide North high-fliers Nuneaton Borough on September 24.

Evesham United's hopes were wrecked in a fiveminute spell just after the quarter-hour mark in their replay with Tiverton Town at Common Road.

The Robins fell behind to a controversial goal on 15 minutes when Chris Bell lobbed goalkeeper Dave Adey after the latter's initial save and although two defenders claimed to have cleared the ball off the line, the assistant referee signalled a goal.

Evesham's hopes were further hit five minutes later when defender Neil Sullivan was red-carded.

Oldbury United also bowed out, losing 3-0 at home to fellow Midland Alliance side Oadby Town, who now tackle Leamington.

The Brakes chalked up their sixth win in seven outings this season with goals from Richard Adams, Leon Morgan and Ryan Howell accounting for Causeway United 3-1 at the New Windmill Ground.

James Wood and Andy Lovelock were on target as Racing Club Warwick claimed a fifth successive win with a 2-1 scoreline at Stratford Town, with Craig Pountney replying, while Karl Edwards hit Chasetown's 85th-minute equaliser in a 2-1 home draw with Coalville Town.
