A service of thanksgiving will take place on Tuesday to celebrate the lives of a mother and daughter who were found dead at their home in Shropshire last month.

The bodies of Susan McFall, 55, and Francesca McFall, 18, were discovered at their home in Oswestry, on February 5, shortly before officers found the body of Mrs McFall's husband in a nearby village.

Hugh McFall, 48, is believed to have killed both his wife and Francesca at their home in Hampton Road before taking his own life.

The service at the Church of St Oswald, King and Martyr, in Church Street, Oswestry, will be attended by friends and close family of Mrs McFall and her daughter.

West Mercia Police are preparing a report into the deaths for the Coroner for Mid and North Shropshire, but stressed that inquiries will take several months to complete.

Officers also confirmed they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths, which they described as a "family tragedy".

An inquest was told last month that the women died of head injuries, while Mr McFall was hanged.
