Dear Editor, in the autumn of 1958 there was a “Band of Brothers” in the Marine Corps on a construction job on the island of Molokai, Hawaii.

There were five of us and we called ourselves “4½” because there were four big guys and one little one who was the “half”. That was me.

We have found three of the 4½.

One of the remaining two was from Birmingham and his name is C.M. Bennett and is about 70 years old now. I don’t remember the other name.

The others were Morgan from New Jersey, Bacchus from Liberty, Missouri, and Finn from St Paul, Minnesota.

It would be greatly appreciated if you would print something to see if we can find Bennett.
