A Solihull scout group located in the shadow of a proposed £ 100 million regeneration project is fearing for its future.
First Shirley Scout Group, which was set up at the end of the First World War, has so far not been included in plans to regenerate Shirley.
The most recent plans include designs for facilities for Shirley Baptist Church and an upgrade of Shirley British Legion.
However, talks surrounding the future of the scout club, located behind the shops on Stratford Road, have stalled.
Trevor Richmond, group president of the scout group, said: "The group is concerned that the development has now reached cabinet approval stage and our continued location in central Shirley has still not been secured."
Shirley Advance Spokesman Robert Birch said: " We have held detailed negotiations with the Scouts about their specific requirements and aspirations and are still working closely with them to satisfy these and a number of possible relocation sites are currently being assessed."
