Dear Editor, How rich we are in this city to have the excellent and outstanding new Queen Elizabeth Hospital, now almost completely equipped, to attend to our medical needs.

A visit to this medical palace gives a sense of occasion seldom experienced by those seeking medical care and succour.

A hospital is measured by the efficiency and dedication of it’s staff, and my recent experience of this shows that the QE superb staff typifies the best of this and, seemingly, are spurred on by their resplendent surroundings.

The hospital is an oasis of human kindness and service contained within a beautiful building, and about which we Birmingham citizens should be rightly proud and honoured.

Albert Cox,
Bournville.
