A postman who was caught with more than £10,000 worth of pirated goods including pornographic videos has been jailed for six months.
Sentencing Paul Round at Birmingham Crown Court yesterday, Judge David Matthews said: "These offences are serious. They deprive those who legitimately are entitled to market this material of income."
Round (37), of Pool Way, Stechford, admitted 13 charges under the Trade Marks Act and six breaches of the Video Recordings Act.
When trading standards and police officers raided Round's home last year they seized a quantity of counterfeit material, including 773 music CDs, 32 film DVDs and 39 DVDs containing Play Station and X Box games.
