Detectives hunting the killer of two women found dead inside a massage parlour have issued a series of CCTV images of a suspect.
Detective Chief Inspector Sheila Thornes said the man, wearing sunglasses and dark clothing, was seen in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, on the day Annie Eels and Samantha Tapper were bludgeoned to death.
Ms Thornes told a news conference in Shrewsbury that she was confident that the public would be able to identify the man, who is known to have visited the brothel for around 12 minutes on July 1.
The bodies of receptionist Mrs Eels, aged 55, and Miss Tapper, aged 24, were discovered in the lounge area of Rachael's Health Studio in Frankwell shortly before 2.45am on Sunday, July 2.
Ms Thornes revealed that seven other men known to have visited the premises had been eliminated from the murder inquiry. The officer added: "We need to identify this man.
"Until we know who he is, and can eliminate him from the inquiry, he remains a suspect."
The CCTV images track the male walking through the centre of Shrewsbury to and from the parlour on the afternoon of July 1, showing him in Bridge Street, Frankwell, at the Riverside Shopping Mall and at the town's bus station.
The suspect is about 6ft with a shaven head and was carrying a large white carrier bag.
He was wearing a thick black shirt or jacket, black trousers or jeans and dark shoes and gloves on a day when temperatures were higher than 30C.
It was also revealed that £300 was stolen from the massage parlour, where the two women suffered severe head injuries inflicted with an unknown blunt instrument.
