Police in Darlaston are appealing for information after two women were sexually assaulted.

The attacks happened on March 2 and 3 between 6-7pm after the offender approached the victims on a dark-coloured mountain bike and asked for the time.

The assault has then taken place, with the offender being verbally abusive before riding off.

Police are interested in anyone who may have been in the Walsall Rd/Park Lane area of Darlaston who may have seen anything suspicious.

The offender is described in both cases as male, white with very pale skin, 5'8" medium build and around 18-21 years old. He is described as having a pockmarked complexion with spots, and spoke with a local accent.

PC Chris Hearn, from Darlaston police station, said, "We are asking for anyone who has any information to come forward. These assaults took place in quite public places, so it is likely that someone may have seen this man."
