Kidderminster Harriers are running the rule over former Boston United striker Lee Thompson.
The 23-year-old Sheffieldborn forward has joined Stuart Watkiss's men on trial and was due to feature in last night's friendly with Walsall.
Thompson began his career with Sheffield United as a trainee and then joined Boston in 2002 after an initial goal-a-game loan spell. He made nearly 100 appearances for the Pilgrims, before being released at the end of last season.
AFC Telford United have drafted in Irish goalkeeper Remi Gilmartin to ease their goalkeeper crisis for tonight's friendly at Nuneaton Borough.
Gilmartin is spending preseason on trial at Walsall but has been given permission to feature in the Bucks' third pre-season game.
Telford have both their keepers ruled out. Stuart Brock is continuing his rehabilitation from a broken leg and SteveTaylor has been laid low with mumps.
The Bucks have further added to their squad by signing 17 - year- old Dale Williams, a left- sided defender.
Chris Brindley wants to see Hednesford Town's rookie youngsters become stars in the making.
With the first-team squad numbering only 16 - including player-boss Brindley and No 2 Steve Anthrobus - Brindley says it is imperative that at least two of the reserves make the step up for the forthcoming Nationwide North campaign.
The 17-year-old defender Tom Marshall has already impressed, while the likes of Ross Dyer, Craig Marshall, Steve Brannan and Jack Rogers will all have their chances to impress as well in tonight's friendly at Rocester.
