A stellar performance in the 2014 Great Birmingham Run from insurance company Phoenix Group has prompted another shot at the Business Challenge title.
Seven men and four women from the Wythall-based company have signed up to the 2015 race on October 18 and will be fund-raising for the firm's official charities - Midland's and London's air ambulances - and other good causes chosen by staff.
In the 2014 half marathon race, Phoenix Group's mixed team claimed the top spot and its women's team came second in the large company category of the Business Challenge.
Team co-ordinator Alison Maskell said: "We've taken part in the Business Challenge for a few years now.
"This time we decided everyone should pick their own charity and fund-raise for a cause that means something to them as individuals.
"We have some really strong runners again this year - everyone has run a half marathon at least once. We would like to think we'll put in another good performance, we shall see."
Business Challenge teams must be a minimum of four people and a maximum of eight but companies can enter as many teams as they want in male, female or mixed-sex categories.
Mixed teams must have a minimum of two men and two women.
Team members must be 16 years of age or over on race day and placings are based on the accumulated first four finishing times in each team.
Every team that enters 12 or more employees will receive their own personalised company engraved plaque.
